Rotational Moulding,also called rotomoulding,is a process in which polythylene(LLDPE) material is heated tomelt in a pre-headed mould. The molten material initially forms to a puddle at the bottom of the mould cavity and then the mould is rotated slowly in two perpendicular axes simultaneously resulting the molten material to flow into the mould and stick to the walls and finally give a shape of the tank. The mould continues to rotate even during cooling and helps to maintain an even thickness throughout the tank. Incase of a two layer tank, the PE material is divided into two parts i.e. black, blue, green & orange etc. for the external layer and white for internal layer in the ratio of 1.0:0.85/0.90. Once the moulding is completed with the external layer material, the white material is then added and the process repeated once again to form a second layer and in the same wat three layer, four layer with foam /without foam are also being manufactured.
